Such a sad case: Turkey transfers Khashoggi murder trial to the country who is allegedly behind the murder
A Turkish court on Thursday confirmed a halt of the trial in absentia of 26 suspects linked to the killing of Saudi critic Jamal Khashoggi and its transfer to Riyadh.
The move will almost certainly end the last trial aimed at serving justice for a heinous crime that caused global outrage.

A Turkish court has confirmed a request from prosecutors to transfer the case against the alleged assassins of Jamal Khashoggi to Saudi Arabia, shutting down a trial that had been a centrepiece of attempts to cast light on the plot and expose the hit squad’s ultimate leader.
