Turkey raises minimum wage by 50 percent, Erdoğan announces

The government has raised the minimum monthly wage from 2,825 lira to 4,250 lira for the next year.
Ahead of the Monetary Policy Committee meeting of the Central Bank today, December 16, the depreciation of the Turkish Lira has continued amid expectations that the policy rate will be cut further.
