bbc.co.uk – Oct 19, 7:32 PM – US military aircraft have dropped weapons, ammunition and medical supplies to Kurdish fighters battling Islamic State (IS) militants in the key Syrian town of Kobane. US Central Command said C-130 transport aircraft had made ‘multiple’ drops.
The Turkish foreign minister said his government was “helping the pesh merga cross over to Kobani,” an apparent shift from the country’s previous refusal.
