The first quarterly report of the Coalition for Women in Journalism (CFWIJ) has shown that a total of 114 women journalists have been attacked and threatened in the country since the beginning of 2021.

The Organization for Security and Co-operation in Europe has requested information from Turkey’s Justice Ministry about the situation of 24 journalists, including Melis Alphan, Kazım Kızıl, Elif Akgül, Hrant Dink, Levent Gültekin and Müyesser Yıldız.
