The protests of students against the “trustee rector” appointed to Boğaziçi University continue in front of the South Campus today. HDP’s Kemalbay has indicated that around 35-40 students have been detained at the gate of the nearby North Campus.
Still protesting the appointed rector by turning their backs to his office at the South Campus, the academics of Boğaziçi University have demanded the immediate release of their students who have been arrested over an artwork.
Taken into custody over a picture on display in an exhibition at the South Campus as part of the ongoing protests against the appointed rector, two students of Boğaziçi University have been arrested for “degrading or inciting the public to enmity or hatred.”
