Turkey’s death toll from the coronavirus rose by 126 to total 1,769 and new confirmed cases rose by 4,353 to bring the country’s total to 78,546, Health Minister Fahrettin Koca said on April 17.

Confederation of Progressive Trade Unions of Turkey (DİSK) has documented the impacts of Covid-19 on its members in a report. While the production has been halted in 47 workplaces, over 51 thousand members have been directly affected by the outbreak.
