Nintendo’s president Satoru Iwata has died of cancer at the age of 55. Iwata started his career as a game programmer in the 1980s. He later joined Nintendo and was appointed its director in 2000.
Nintendo issued a brief statement tonight on the death of Satoru Iwata, the gamer and programmer who served as the Japanese gaming company’s fourth president and CEO.

Nintendo’s president Satoru Iwata has died of cancer at the age of 55. Iwata started his career as a game programmer in the 1980s. He later joined Nintendo and was appointed its director in 2000. Two years later, he took on the role of president at the company. It was under Iwata that the Japanese gaming company released the popular Nintendo DS and 3DS portable systems, as well as the Wii console in 2006.

That makes three major security holes for Adobe in a matter of days. Following the leak of Hacking Team’s internal files and correspondence last week, researchers at Trend Micro noted a document detailing the first Flash flaw that allowed attackers to control of users’ systems. The two newly discovered vulnerabilities affect Windows, Mac and Linux computers. Adobe says it’s working on a fix and will make an update available this week.…
