From Arhavi to Antalya

In the last three weeks, I virtually had no time to document what I was up to. During this physically tiring but mentally satisfying period, I attended several conferences, training programs, and countless graduate thesis meetings. The period started with our Wikipedia event in Arhavi, which I have already blogged about. In four days after, the Arhavi trip, I visited Ankara twice and then spent a week in Antalya. Now, I can rest for a few days as Türkiye enters a nine-day Eid al-Adha rest.

The core group in our AI Literacy Project was invited to the conference at Akdeniz University, and I guess it was one of the first times I felt like a guest of honor along with colleagues. I would like to thank Prof. Merih Taşkaya and her collaborators for this classy meeting.

The team at work.

When I was in Antalya, which hosts a treasure of ancient settlements and other natural beauties, I could visit a few ones I had saved in my Google Maps ages ago!

Köprülü Kanyon
Ancient City of Selge
Ancient Sillyon
Rafting at Köprüçay. I course, I didn’t do it.
