A few recent readings I loved “The Oxford Map Companion”, “Memory of Departure”,” Happening”

Although “companion” may sound like a long textual content Patricia Seed had collected 100 relatively less known maps from the history of map making and added short informative and enjoyable texts to invited the readers to a journey in world history and map making. The Oxford Map Companion: One Hundred Sources in World History

I had the opportunity to read Abdulrazak Gurnah for the first time. Despite the heartbreaking content he narrates, he has such a style that you fall into a lovely nostalgia, and you are blessed with the reading.  Memory of Departure

And finally, I read Annie Ernaux for the first time. Such a great beginning with this short but capturing novel: Happening
