Right on top of a stream. Beautiful Black Sea region is torn apart with the corrupt construction industry, environmentally hostile dams, and human greed…

There is a “great mobilization” to help people recover from the disaster, Minister of Interior Süleyman Soylu has said.

 

Death toll from northern Turkey flash floods rises to seven

The death toll from flooding in Turkey’s Black Sea province of Giresun rose to sevenon Aug. 23, with a senior official announcing that a second gendarmerie officer’s body had been recovered.
