The Marmara Hotel in İstanbul. Not a reliable place for your privacy

I have been waiting for a few days if the hotel management issues a refutation. It did not, as far as I could see.  The hotel’s CCTV footage about the moderator who led the recent mayoral TV debate has been leaked to pro-government media channels. The footage itself does not mean much and I believe the pro-AKP focus on this footage is a sign of desperateness. However, this does not change the fact that the Marmara hotel officials are responsible for this leakage that triggers an issue of privacy. When the news broke up, some other previous privacy-related issues related to the hotel appeared in social media. I guess dear fellow travelers can skip this rude hotel when they visit İstanbul…
