
Turkish Prime Minister Binali Yıldırım and U.S. Vice President Mike Pence held their much-anticipated meeting late on Nov. 9

Senior Turkish and U.S. officials will hold a key meeting on Nov. 9 in Washington, where all aspects of troubled bilateral relations will be on the table, following tentative messages issued by both sides on easing visa sanctions against each other.

The US had suspended all non-immigrant visa services after Turkey’s arrest of a consulate employee.

A key meeting scheduled for later on Nov. 7 between U.S. Vice President Michael Pence and Turkish Prime Minister Binali Yıldırım has been postponed to Nov. 9, Turkish officials revealed after Yıldırım’s plane took off from Ankara.
