Turkey has been showing a fantastic performance with the start of the tournament. It can be easily seen that we are making the toughest defence in the tournament by allowing our rivals very limited amount of basket. In China game, we only had 40 points in our basket. Actually, the team is really believing in the idea of playing the final against United States which also has been showing a demolishing performance.

In the knockout round, Turkey eliminated France with a magnificent win. In this game, Sinan Güler and Hidayet Türkoğlu were on the stage. Hido played with 20 points and Sinan Güler who came off the bench scored 17 points most of which are very classy movements. For me, he is the ?Diemantidis? of Turkish National Team and he deserves much more time to be on the court.

Now, we will play against a tough team, Slovenia. Vidmar and Nachbar have been playing a successful  tournament, yet our power forwards and centers can in a way dominate the rival box if they show their regular performance. The game will probably be harder than France game but we can handle it with the support of the fans.
