PUB 204- COMMUNICATION AND CULTURE
This course is intended as an introductory review of the theories of contemporary culture. Within the framework of the notion of “popular culture,” we will examine various theories and approaches to culture and communication. After succesfully completing the course, the students are expected to be familiar with the concepts of “mass culture,” “popular culture,” “culture industry,” “political economy,” “ideology” as well as approaches like “Marxism,” “structuralism,” “semiology,” feminism” and “postmodernism.”

Arkadaşlar, syllabus’ı ve tam okuma listesini daha sonra göndereceğim. AMA önümüzdeki dersin okumasını BURADAN indirebilirsiniz. O linkte Strinati’nin tüm kitabı var. O kitaptan başka bölümler de okuyacağız.
