Halting work for better working conditions, over 150 workers of the Migros Depo, the warehouse of Migros supermarket chain, and three union executives were briefly detained while they were waiting in the warehouse in İstanbul’s Esenyurt.

As Iran has cut natural gas flow to Turkey due to a technical failure on the transmission line, the Electricity Transmission Corporation has decided to restrict electricity distribution to organized industrial zones for 3 days starting from today, January 24.
The delivery workers of Trendyol, one of the largest e-commerce companies in Turkey, gathered in İstanbul’s Maltepe and Yenikapı and expressed their demands, including a 50-percent pay rise and not dismissing the workers seeking their rights.
