In the anniversary of Sivas Massacre security forces hold city of Sivas under siege. No protests in the burned hotel site is allowed, reports say. The governor of city banned any kind of commemoration or demonstration… I wish they could employ their power to prevent the massacre happen in 1993 instead…

Scores of protesters will flock to Sivas? Madımak Hotel on Saturday to commemorate 33 Alevi intellectuals and two hotel workers killed in a 1993 arson attack despite an edict from the governor?s office banning the march.
