On an empty road near Diyarbakir, life of ten year old Gülistan and her brother Firat takes an abrupt change. Their Father, a political journalist, and their mother are being killed before their very eyes. Having also lost all relatives during the war, Gülistan and Firat are forced to survive on their own.
