the Guardian's 1000 novels…

Oh boy, the Guardian now has another 1000 list: 1000 novels everyone must read: the definitive list

It was easier to finish up 1000 films list:) I am starting another novel by Haruki Murakami:  A Wild Sheep Chase: A Novel

This is not in the list. But i have read two of his novels that made it the list: "The Wind-Up Bird Chronicle" and "Norwegian Wood".

  1. Thank you for a very interesting link. I’m surprised that I managed to read many of those writers (and a few unlisted ones) without anybody telling me they were important. Of course, friends have been a great help in leading me to beloved books.
I don’t know Haruki Murakami. As I read your blog and trust your judgement, I will borrow one of his books from the Library. I possibly might have missed his name on the anonymous Guardian list.Thanks.:)
