What Erkan's friends up to?
Well, only some of them. There is no way to list'em all:p
Sean Jeating declares ardently asked seven facts about him.
Di Mackey tells us her photographic successes:
Hmmm, a request from Claudia regarding the photographic results of the magazine work ...
I blogged about the first one here and discovered that the link changes each month so ... it was there, now it's not but you can read of it on my blog if you follow the link. .......
Di's My CafePress Store is open and you are all more than welcome to call by.
Metin writes about Gypsies and Turkey; responding to some stories related to gentrification moves in Sulukule and his own childhood impressions about Roma people... Metin also quotes a CNN news on a scientific study on kissing and after telling us "I too have had encounters of my own with several girls who insisted on forcing their big tongues in my mouth. Needless to say I was tongue tied, and ended any further exploration of the rest of their skills" he asks
Are you a good kisser? And what about your partner? And what does your partner think about your kissing technique? Is bad kissing a deal killer?
and quotes a previous post about 'Kissing' back in September....
Jessica booked her ticket for January.
Dear Murat is approaching to have the 100,000 visitor mark,
I want to be poised to reach 1 million visits before I'm 40.. Recognizing that overall, I'm not a very interesting person, I'm thinking about at least making
very interesting. That means taking off the gloves and throwing political correctness out the window, going on the offensive, attacking the things which are incompatible with my principles, my convictions, my beliefs. Am I just asking for trouble?Traffic.. Yeah huge traffic would be fine and dandy.. as would making more than $1-2 a day on Google Adsense. But what it all boils down to for me is one thing: Having a willing audience, not an audience driven here by a Google search result. For this transformation, I think I need to get out on top of my glass house and start casting stones galore. Am I nuts?Probably.
Well, Murat, i make less than what you make a day thru Adsense:( But I want to add Technorati to the complaint list. Its redesign and relaunch is for the very big guys not for us, it seems...
Murat also lists Seven Things About Murat and tags others to confess...
Our dear Hans is quite lucky. Look how he has good relations with the cab drives and policemen/women. And here seven facts from Hans.

Ever since that horrible 'readability' test you performed on their blogs, your friends are staying away... It's lonely at top, eh, Erkan dear?

oh do you think so? hmmm i did not have a clue about that:p
and yeah, fame makes you lonely.....

The 'operative' word is 'readability!'
Since my blog was judged to be of elementary school level, i must attribute that to the levels I have to go to reach even the lowest grade of readers who I embrace as my audience, in the interest of inclusivity.
I hope it's not a reflection of my educational level however, since I dropped out of elementary school and do not deserve such high recognition or honor.
But in any case, thank you Erkan for including my blog (and I) in your post of what your friends are up to.
:)

See y probably tom, monday.

metin is right at that readability aspect and in fact, if you are write for a mass audience, it is expected to write more simple. and you are welcome. we are friends for sure:) and maybe in my next time in US, we will meet in person.
Hans, yeah i will probably see you tom. whisky time:p
and i guess i survived, i came back home at around 4, dozed off while watching a gangsta movie and i am now trying to recover. exhausted and a bit depressed...

Erkan, you are always most welcomed in the U.S., especially in the better coast (hint: the 'West' Coast . . . lol).
I am also depressed that GS lost its game with FB. At least GS is still on top of the leader board . . . for now . . .

Metin, i will probably be in Irvine for a few days in April. Well, i will think about what else I can do:)
Posted by: erkan | December 10, 2007 08:27 AM
I am sure we can think of a few things. Especially if we hang out next door at my town Newport Beach . . .
:)
Posted by: metin | December 10, 2007 05:01 PM
Hey thank you :)
Are you coming to Brussels anytime soon?
Posted by: Di | December 10, 2007 07:34 PM
Hey Erkan, if you want cultural stimulation you should come to Northern California; otherwise, it is very plastique down in the South. No offence Metin, elementary school level or not.
Posted by: Mitat Yerli | December 11, 2007 03:08 AM
Hi Erkan,
looks like I have a lot of catch-up reading to do! Thanks for including me.
Newport Beach... Irvine... I'm hopelessly jealous!
Posted by: Jess | December 11, 2007 06:52 AM
'cultural' stimulation?? you can't sell that to a former New Yorker . . . how about cultural shock in NoCal? And it's freezing up there.
As for plastic . . . all of the toys (of 'elementarians') have been recalled due to the lead imported from China.
And there are still hotties here who have not gone under the knife (yet). It's no wonder 'Silicon' valley is up north. Sown here we got the clueless 'valley' girls.
Don't be so jealous Mitat . . .
:)

Holy smokes it's been a while since I checked Technorati.
Thanks Erkan for the publicity.
Please repair the grammar though!"..I'm at least thinking about making what I say very interesting.."
Posted by: Murat | December 13, 2007 01:44 AM
Hey Murat, being interested is always more interesting than trying to make what you say very interesting, don't you think?
