Why is Turkey so obsessed with France.
Their elections are still what we call: internal affairs.
The outcome of this election will not change Turkey's obligations to their wanna be EU membership.

obsessed? why do you think so? in the mean time, the EU had already proven that leaders intervene and change the rules of the game if Turkey is the case. The outcome of this election might increase Turkey's obligations. Sarkozy does not look like a Turkey fan...

The only thing which France is increasing are their FDY in Turkey.
The rules of the EU are simple, follow the Copenhagen criteria and CA and you will be a member. I didnt have seen one rule changed during Turkey's accesion talks.

Nimet C. and Royal both for President!
Communication will be sharper and more direct with two female presidents.
