A major Turkish daily Milliyet’s archive is online now(dates btw: 3 May 1950- 30 June 2004)


In the mean time,  a new Media Association was formed last week. It is already accused of being pro-government media’s establishment… here.

The president of the newly founded Media Association, cartoonist Salih Memecan, says the association’s goal is to work toward improving the quality of the media in Turkey, a nation that has been going through changes to become a more democratic and pluralistic society.
