I am about to finish reading Murat Menteş’ last novel. This is the last of a series of quality novels I have been reading. He has earned quite a fame in Turkey and he deserves it. Good geeky appropriation of popular culture images. All other novels are award winning novels and I would recommend all to read..

Neil Gaiman: The Graveyard Book

Has the taste of The Little Prince :)

Neil Gaiman in the New Yorker

from Boing Boing by Cory Doctorow

Nice profile of Neil Gaiman in this week’s New Yorker, written by Dana Goodyear, who really followed Neil around to get the story — caught their duo act at the WorldCon in Montreal last year, where Ms Goodyear was being introduced to everyone who had a good Neil story to tell.

Michael Chabon: The Yiddish Policemen’s Union.

Definitely a challenging read. Not for easy reading. But you won’t regret when you read…

Aravid Adiga: The White Tiger.

Reminds you the movie Slumdog Millionaire.

Elizabeth Strout: Olive Kitteridge

Challenging in the sense that you will be thrown into melancholy and nostalgia. If you survive, there will be that literary taste in your mouth:)
