The orgy of arrests continues with over a hundred new people hauled in across the country, accused of being active in the Kurdish Communities Union, which lawmakers believe is the civil/urban wing of the armed Kurdish separatist group PKK, and of giving armed or logistical support to the PKK. Au rythme avec lequel  les arrestations se succèdent dans les milieux proches du mouvement kurde, les prisons du pays doivent être pleines à craquer. Et rien n?indique que la tendance pourrait se ralentir. Rien que la journée du lundi 13 février, ce sont 140 personnes qui ont été arrêtées dans le cadre de l?affaire du KCK aux  4 coins du pays : à Ankara, Beyoglu (Istanbul), Izmir, Van, Diyarbakir, Hakkari, Batman etc? Des cadres du parti kurde font partie de cette nouvelle rafle bien sûr, mais aussi, comme d?habitude, beaucoup de syndicalistes, notamment du KESK,  des journalistes, des étudiants, et même des mineurs ayant participé à des manifestations.  Les quartiers de mineurs politiques détenus en attente de leur jugement sont à nouveau pleins. Ce qui ne semble plus émouvoir grand monde.
