CHP?s soul-searching

The extraordinary congress of the Republican People?s Party (CHP) which will take place this weekend in Ankara is an event borne out of a political urge for the worn-out main opposition force to conduct some soul-searching. In that sense, the congress still has news value because the normalization of politics cannot go on with a party which has lost touch with the realities of today — and its soul.
